Reverse CrossLetter GolfGroups & SocialFresh Reverse Cross puzzles and scorecards you control
A whole Reverse Cross puzzle, generated from scratch
Verbolus can now construct a complete unthemed Reverse Cross puzzle instead of only choosing from a set of hand-built layouts. The generator creates a fresh grid, fills its crossings from the shared word catalog, verifies that every entry fits and the puzzle can be completed, then sends players only the blank grid and word bank they need to solve it.
Generated serving is being introduced deliberately. Daily continues to use validated puzzles while generated Practice puzzles are tested and measured. During staged playtesting, complete generated Practice puzzles can be requested in sizes from 5x5 through 9x9; normal play can still fall back to a validated puzzle rather than leave you waiting when generation cannot finish within its limits.
Scorecards with boundaries you set
Group members can now open the detailed Letter Golf and Reverse Cross scorecards you choose to share. Detailed sharing starts on for each game, but you can turn it off by game. Each group can then inherit those defaults, see all of your detailed game scorecards, or see only your current Daily streak.
Your current Daily streak and Today standings remain visible inside the group, but sharing does not create a public profile or reveal submitted words, play history, puzzle answers, or partial progress. Anonymous players are not available for scorecard sharing, and you can change your choices anytime in Stats Sharing settings. Your choices are saved with your player settings and enforced on the server whenever a group member requests your shared scorecard.
More ways to make Reverse Cross yours
Generated puzzles join a growing set of ways to play at your own pace. Daily and Practice games save your progress, support pause and resume, and keep the official timer on the server. Your Reverse Cross scorecard tracks completed games, fastest and typical times, and Daily streaks, while spoiler-free group standings let friends compare results from the same Daily puzzle.
Together, generation and sharing move in the same direction: more variety when you want another puzzle, and clearer control over what leaves your own scorecard.
