Sign in and keep your progress with you

Sign in, and bring your progress with you

You can now sign in with email & password, Google, Microsoft, or Facebook. Signing in for the first time on a device that already has guest progress asks you what to do: keep this device's progress and attach it to your new sign-in, or start fresh.

If you sign in with a method that's already tied to an existing account, you'll get the mirror image of that choice: add this device's progress into your existing account, or leave it behind and continue on your existing account only.

Link more than one way to sign in

The new Account page lists every sign-in method linked to your account and lets you add another at any time - handy if you want to be able to sign in from a new device with, say, Google instead of the email you started with. You can remove a method you no longer want, as long as it isn't your only remaining one.

If a sign-in method you try to add is already linked to a different account, you'll see a merge preview before anything happens, so you can confirm (or back out) with full knowledge of what you're combining.

Switch accounts, or sign out

From the Account page you can sign out (back to a fresh guest session on this device) or switch directly to a different account without carrying this device's current progress along for the ride.

Your data, wherever it lives

Your existing data export and delete-my-account tools in Settings now correctly cover every sign-in method and every bit of progress tied to your account, not just whichever device or method you're currently using.

Everywhere else

The navigation menu's dropdown on desktop now lines up flush against the right edge instead of drifting past it.
